Welcome Tea 2011
NUS Skating Club Welcome Tea
Date: 17 August 2011, Wednesday
Time: 6pm
Venue: SRC Conference Room (Next to climbing gym)
At the welcome tea, we will tell you more about our club, what we do, the events we organise and the services we provide. Note that you do not have to be a good skater to join us. We can make you a good skater, as long as you have the interest and the will to learn.

EXCO application
We are also looking for committed and passionate skaters to join our executive committee. We have several positions opened for application:
- Marketing Vice Director
- Publicity Vice Director
- Events Vice Director
- Logistics Vice Director
- Secretary
- Skating Manager
Note: Skating experience is NOT required. You just need to have lots of interest, commitment, and the will to learn.

Skates Mass Purchase
Our sponsor, Hvper Sports will be opening a booth to sell their wares. Everyone will enjoy a 10-30% discount if they make any purchases that day. Orders will be taken and delivered to school for you to collect at a later date. If you have any NUS friends who may be interested in purchasing their own skates, do ask them to come down to enjoy this discount.
Skating Session after Welcome Tea
Do bring your skates along too, because we will be skating in school at the SRC multipurpose courts after the welcome tea!
If you don't have a pair of skates, we provide rental of skates as well! So do drag your friends along too! After all, skating is a social activity.
